Training programs in psychosynthesis, with an ecopsychology emphasis:
I. Distance/on-line courses for individual study
II. Workshops and trainings, including Teacher Training via teleseminar.
III. In-service programs for counseling/social work and social activist organizations.
Artist unknown but greatly appreciated.
I. DISTANCE/ON-LINE COURSE DESCRIPTIONS
I offer three year-long distance training courses to meet the needs of people who live in areas with no nearby psychosynthesis center, and/or others who prefer to work at their own pace and schedule.
Personal & Spiritual Psychosynthesis and Guiding Skills consist of twelve study assignments, including readings and exercises for self-exploration, and the student's written responses and reflections submitted for extensive feedback by e-mail. Each lesson takes about a month to complete. Psychosynthesis for the Earth has six (to eight) lessons; each takes one to two months to complete. In all three courses, written feedback for each lesson is followed by telephone conferences in which we discuss questions and ideas together.
1. Personal & Spiritual Psychosynthesis
Personal & Spiritual Psychosynthesis covers the essential concepts, principles, and methods of psychosynthesis. Whether the student chooses a purely personal emphasis or a professional emphasis, the work focuses primarily on the student's own self-discovery and growth.
Two additional courses may be taken in any order. The prerequisite for either course is completion of the first course, or comparable training at a psychosynthesis center.
2. Guiding Skills
Guiding Skills explores principles and methods of psychosynthesis in counseling, psychotherapy, life coaching, and spiritual direction. People taking this course will need to set up a practicum situation in their locales, either as established professionals or supervised interns. Students may participate in optional residential workshops once or twice a year for experiential and collaborative learning, including demonstration and practice sessions within the group setting.
3. Psychosynthesis for the Earth
Psychosynthesis for the Earth brings in systems thinking, ecopsychology, and deep ecology, while applying psychosynthesis principles to the larger community, to environmental, peace, and justice issues. Educators, non-profit directors, and other professionals--as well as activists, and concerned citizens--will find this course enriching and empowering.
Certification/Credit
A certificate will be awarded at the completion of each year's training. Academic credit may also be available, in conjunction with various colleges and universities.

II. WORKSHOPS/TRAININGS
Teacher Training "Psychosynthesis for the People"
"Psychosynthesis can be applied by the individual himself, fostering and accelerating inner growth and self-actualization, which should be the aim of all and which sometimes is felt as an imperative inner urge, as a vital existential necessity." (Assagioli, 2000, p. 7)
In 2012, I will offer a training program for intermediate students of psychosynthesis who want to teach basic principles and practices of psychosynthesis in their communities. It will be offered as a teleseminar (on-line) with reading, writing, and exercise assignments between seminars. Please click here for more details.
